What We Believe...

Scripture

In the Scriptures of the Old and New Testament as verbally inspired by God and inerrant in the original writings as the supreme and final authority in faith and life. (2 Tim. 3:16, 2 Pet. 1:21)

1 God

In one God, eternally existing in three person - Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. (Gen. 1:1, John 4:24, Acts 5:3-4)

Jesus

That Jesus Christ ever existed with the Father and the Holy Spirit and that His incarnation was begotten by the Holy Spirit, born of the virgin Mary and is true God and true man. (Matt. 1:18-24, Luke 2:26-35)

Sinners

That man was created in the image of God, that he sinned, and thereby incurred not only physical death, but also spiritual death, and that all human beings are born with a sinful nature. (Gen. 1:26-27, Jer. 17:9, Rom. 3:23)

Resurrection

That the Lord Jesus died for our sins as a representative and substitutionary sacrifice; and that all who believe in Him are justified on the grounds of His shed blood. (1 Cor. 15:3-4, 1 Pet. 2:24, Rom. 5:9)
In the resurrection of the crucified body of our Lord, His assension into heaven, His present life there for us as high priest and advocate and His bodily premillenial, imminent return to the earth to reign. (Matt. 24:27-31, Acts 1:1-11)

Faith

That all who receive by faith the Lord Jesus as Savior are born-again of the Holy Spirit and thereby become the children of God, and immediately receive eternal life and are eternally secure. (John 1:12, John 5:24, John 6:37, Eph. 2:8-9)

Assurance

In the reality and personality of Satan as the enemy of God, destroyer of men, and accuser of the brethren, but that his defeat and doom are sure. (Matt. 4:1-11, Eph. 6:11, Gen. 3:15, John 12:31, Rev. 20:10)

Eternal Life

In the pretribulational rapture of the believers to meet the Lord in the air. (1 Thes. 4:17-18, 1 Thes. 5:9, Rev. 3:10)In the bodily resurrection of the just and unjust, the everlasting blessedness of the saved in heaven, and the everlasting punishment of the lost in hell. (Matt. 25:26, John 5:28-29, Rev. 20:11-15)
